Fingers Decidedly Un-green? Don't Fret, Our New Plant Prints Bring The Outside In

You know how it is. One night you need some basil for your pasta and you think “I could buy the packet of cut leaves but - aha - there’s an actual basil plant in a little pot. I know! I’ll buy that instead. I’ll make the sustainable choice! I’ll pick a few leaves tonight and then I’ll keep it going! It will provide me with delicious basil for years - decades even! Maybe I’ll build a greenhouse around it - perhaps I should start researching poly-tunnels…” Three days later you’re looking mournfully at that little pot with its straggly stalks and wilted leaves, wondering how such a cast-iron plan could have gone so swiftly and irreversibly wrong.

Or perhaps that’s just me.

Whatever your level of horticultural skill, bringing the glorious greens of nature into your house is easy with these beautiful prints by Nottingham-based artist Katrina Sophia. She happens to be very good at keeping houseplants alive and even better at painting them. Pop in to the shop for a closer look, or check them out here.
